Finance Director of a team of financial analysts responsible for supporting Premium Products (including Venture X, Travel, Dining, Entertainment, etc.), Upmarket Acquisitions & Marketing, Tax Preparation, & general support of Upmarket analytics as well. Role entails strong cross-functional engagement, deep analytic capabilities, and the ability to leverage data to influence decisions, as well as needing to motivate and drive team agendas.
Develop finance objectives in support of business goals. Forecast development and actual monthly reporting. Coordinate seamlessly between business partners and Capital One central teams. Accountable to financial results of the area supported.
Responsible for forecasting technical and qualitative aspects of predicting future financial performance given historical trends, changes in business dynamics and likely changes in business environment (micro and macro)
Manage, coach, and develop associates; a team of 4 resources
Drive process improvements
Apply integrative thinking skills to current challenges & opportunities facing Capital One as well as the broader financial services & technology industries
Drive multiple projects by providing thought leadership and working closely with highly specialized subject matter experts across lines of business
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience
At least 7 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
At least 3 years of people management experience
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
8+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
5+ years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
4+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports
Experience with G Suite products
