Business Manager, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing


Capital One is seeking an enterprising, data-driven, and results-oriented associate responsible for driving Growth via smart, creative, and innovative marketing partnerships. In this role, you will evaluate prospective partners and work closely with prioritized partners to create long-term relationships and campaigns that deliver Growth on behalf of the Shopping Platforms Team.


General Responsibilities:  

  • Own end-to-end execution of campaigns, strategically prioritizing top partner prospects first, then methodically and tactically executing to bring the fully developed campaigns to life

  • Set the bar for performance when it comes to interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage fluidly, develop relationships and problem solve with cross-functional stakeholders both internally (Growth, product, design, legal, etc.) and externally (partners, agencies, etc.)

  • Negotiate, influence and fully execute campaigns, including net new, pioneering opportunities for the Shopping Platforms Team

  • Analyze and measure program success in order to own campaign-level iterations and optimizations and ensure efficient user acquisition


Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree  

  • At least 2 years of experience in analysis 


Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering 

  • 5+ years of experience in analysis 

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services 

  • 1+ year of experience in consulting 

  • 2+ years of experience in people management
