Global Finance supports all of Capital One’s worldwide financial activities, including corporate-level financial reporting, internal
control, intercompany and tax activities. Within Global Finance, the Treasury Accounting team is seeking a high-energy and forward-
thinking professional to join us as a Principal Associate focused on the company’s LIBOR Transition program.

So who are you? As a member of the Treasury Accounting team, you will be the main in-charge to ensure a successful transition
from U.S. dollar (USD) LIBOR to a more robust reference rate, its recommended alternative, the Secured Overnight Financing Rate
(SOFR). You have a great attention to detail and feel comfortable diving into the numbers to provide in-depth analysis to our various
business partners. Most importantly, you’re a team player that comes ready to uplift others and make Capital One a great company

Major Responsibilities:
● Oversee the LIBOR Transition program for Treasury Accounting covering debt, investment, and derivatives portfolios, as
well as securitization investor reporting
● Work closely with related portfolio and risk management teams to ensure alignment of the project with the wider change
portfolio strategy
● Communicate effectively with other related workstreams to ensure information flows from and to these groups to ensure
alignment and proper consideration
● Perform unit testing for the new reference rate indexed products including debt, investment, and derivatives portfolios
● Oversee the back-book conversions to the new reference rate, including accurately assessing the accounting, testing, and
operational impact to firm’s positions and internal processes
● Identify and implement related changes to regulatory disclosures and footnotes
● Ensure Standard Operating Procedures, Standards, and Documentation are updated as necessary
● Other supporting activities within the project as required

Characteristics we’re looking for:
● Team player capable of interacting cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization and capable of taking ownership
● Adaptive to change, new ideas and able to prioritize with minimal direction
● Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting & analysis
● Excellent communication skills

Basic Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
● At least 4 years of accounting or reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications:
● Knowledge of industry shift away from LIBOR and the effects to impacted products and services a plus
● Treasury experience within Financial Services Industry preferred
● Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred
