Quality Engineer

As a self-motivated teammate who thrives in a dynamic, constantly changing environment, you will be passionate about building phenomenal products and learning new technologies. In order to be successful you will have:

  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (BDD/TDD /CI/CD , Testing types)

  • Experience designing, writing, maintaining, and executing software tests

  • Maintaining test data for Continuous Testing pipelines

  • The automated tests you create will validate the quality of native and web-based applications, while your manual testing will track evolving use cases

  • You’ll work with the engineering team to develop a sound quality assurance process and infrastructure

  • Be a customer advocate with the ability to think as an end user

  • Comfortable with switching contexts rapidly

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Ability to triage problems - e.g. going through application logs on various platforms, debugging and logging issues in our bug tracking system

Your duties will vary, but may include:

  • You will create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases based on the requirements of our software that meet audit compliance in our highly regulated Fintech industry

  • Creating and maintaining automated tests for native, mobile and web applications

  • Executing all types of tests (e.g., functional, integration, manual, automated, etc.) on a scheduled or as-needed basis

  • Tracking and managing bugs through the software development lifecycle

  • Tracking and reporting on quality assurance metrics and testing activities

We use Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Espresso, XCUITest, RestAssured to write our automated tests. We build on both AWS and on premises services with ReactJS frontend and micro-services built in Java.

We work with Jenkins to build our CI/CD pipelines.

We use Python, Shell script  for pipeline tools and build iOS and Android native apps for our customers.

Any experience with load and performance testing is a plus!
