To enable our success, we are looking for a Product Owner on our Card Customer team who can empower modernization strategy and bring simplicity to complex issues. This role calls for a trailblazer who can inspire effective collaboration with engineering teams and bring customer-centricity to the heart of the Capital One platform ecosystem.
General areas of responsibilities:
Fuel customer obsession and design-thinking prioritization through effective communication of meaningful, measurable business and customer value propositions
Empower software engineering team(s) to design, deliver, and sustain a bold API infrastructure modernization plan focused on reliable, real-time delivery and rooted in resiliency; Provide thought leadership as we lead through innovative enhancements to essential Core data publication
Identify seamless enhancements that continue to improve cost efficiency, performance, and security so that Capital One Card can lean into innovative design
Build foundational relationships and concept-design across the Card enterprise to ensure long-term success of the millions of customer and transaction update activities that occur daily within the Core API infrastructure
Embody thoughtful Product leadership within Capital One’s platform ecosystem through methodical product development, scalable solutions, and collaboration
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products
1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
