Manager, Project Management - Core

As a Project Manager on the Core team, you will be responsible for working with business partners across the organization to triage, develop, and implement solutions for incidents that occur within our program.  You will collaborate across Card, Tech, and Card Operational teams to quickly contain and remediate. This role will also partner with our TSYS feature teams, Product and Segments to deliver new products and features. The Project Manager will also have oversight of the Core Intake process ensuring the process is well managed and effective in assessing and prioritizing new intent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Core intake process including:

    • Facilitation of weekly intake meetings with business requesters and internal stakeholders 

    • Coordination with business intent requesters to provide concise intake requests with business details to streamline assessments during intake meeting

    • Coordination of product and tech SMEs to attend intake meetings for assessments and distribution of requests details ahead of meetings

    • Manage action items and follow ups coming out of intake meetings

    • Ensuring intake process steps are completed until intent is status closed or assigned to a team for delivery

  • Manage the risk remediation process including process measurement, analysis, and responding to breakdowns as needed:

    • Creation of new incidents

    • Tracking incidents throughout their life cycle

    • Coordination of internal and external resources to understand each incident to determine root cause

    • Partnership with internal and external resources to contain and remediate (short term and long term solutions)

    • Stakeholder management for updates, status, impediments, etc.

  • Use analytical and process management skills to identify trends and opportunities to improve process or operating models 

  • Partner with business customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive intent delivery

  • Partner with System Integrators to assist with grooming of new intent with business partners as needed

  • Providing holistic views of program initiatives, work in flight and management of forecasting capacity in collaboration with Product Lead

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 1 year of Risk Management Experience 

  • At least 2 year of Process or Project Management experience

  • At least 2 years of Relationship Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • 3+ years of Project or Process Management experience leading cross-functional initiatives 

  • 1+ years of Financial Services Risk Management experience 

  • 1+ years of Complex problem solving experience
