Commercial Real Estate - Investor Reporting Manager

Agency Finance - Multifamily Loan Servicing is a division of the Capital One Commercial Bank. By cultivating innovative solutions and embracing technology, this team creates an unforgettable and unparalleled experience for our associates and customers. One of the most impactful groups in Loan Servicing is the Investor Reporting team.

The team supports a total loan portfolio of approx. $40BN and provides ongoing support for the life of the loan. The organization focuses on delivering scale and efficiency, mitigating operational risk, providing a smooth customer experience and enabling talented associates to excel.  The team is searching for an Investor Reporting Manager.


Job Description:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate remittance calculations and complete and accurate investor reporting packages

  • Proactively resolve reporting variances and discrepancies

  • Calculate fees and other miscellaneous items

  • Reconcile bank accounts and custodial ledgers and resolve outages

  • Develop, run and maintain reporting packages for internal stakeholders, investors and business partners

  • Mine data and monitor data quality to regularly deliver crucial information used for analysis, reporting, and decision making

  • Perform complex queries and manipulate large data sets using SQL or similar query tools

  • Document existing and new procedures, to apply best practices and improve efficiencies.

  • Perform regular audits of data and reports to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain positive relationship/partnership with the GSEs, HUD and Ginnie Mae

  • Collaborate across the Agency Finance platform to provide consistent excellence in customer service

  • Collaborate with technology, accounting & project management to consistently look to expand and scale efficiencies and automation

  • Actively participate and lead technology upgrade projects as/when necessary

  • Oversee ad hoc, quarterly, and annual periodic reporting to GSEs, HUD/Ginnie Mae and Master Servicers to ensure compliance 

  • Maintain/update policies and procedures and enhanced controls to comply with Agency and Reg AB criteria

  • Assist with preparation of documentation for internal and external audits

  • Manage loan payoff life cycle to ensure timely investor approval, accurate payoff and prepayment penalty calculations, and releases

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years Commercial Bank Operations experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years Commercial Bank Operations experience
  • Master's Degree
